An elf known as the God of the Hunt once battled a Hunter Wolf. The elf had incredible skill, so he should have defeated his adversary with ease. However, the fight continued for several days, with neither side emerging victorious. No matter how many wounds the elf inflicted, the Hunter Wolf would remain standing, unyielding in its resolve. Then, on the morning of the fifth day, the wolf finally collapsed—and the elf realized it was the grieving mate of a wolf he had killed a month prior. Wracked with guilt, he named the Hunter Wolf Lobro, and worshipped it as a Guardian.
