A monstrous forest-dwelling creature resembling a plant with a gaping maw. This carnivorous beast will devour any animal small enough to fit in its massive pitcher plant-like mouth. Upon spotting its prey, it will release either a cackling laugh or observe it in silence. Neither of these are signs of intelligence, but merely instinctive responses driven by a basic need to survive and reproduce. The sticky fluid oozing from its mouth-pouch releases a strong pheromone that attracts most small animals.
