A pollinated Nepenthes that bears fruit—of a kind. The pod atop its head is essentially a spore sac, albeit one that's extremely fragile and prone to burst at the slightest touch. Once burst, this sac releases a cloud of foul-smelling spores into the surrounding area. The terrifying result is the amassing of other Nepenthes. Their strong reproductive instincts are triggered by the release, causing them to coalesce in order to shield and protect the spores. The only way to prevent being crushed by this wave of Nepenthes is to sever the stem bearing the sac before it bursts.
