A Nepenthes bearing flower buds yet to bloom. In truth, almost all of these buds will wither and fall off before ever opening, as they can only be cultivated in the strictest of environmental conditions. Despite this, a Sprouting Nepenthes is just as formidable as a Flowering Nepenthes due to its cunning nature—exemplified by its use of these bud blasts to confuse opponents.
