Lore
He hung suspended, waiting and watching. From the ceilings of caves, dark and deep. From forest branches high in the canopy. At first, he lay in wait only for prey. But gradually, he grew interested in their forms, then their behaviors, until finally their very existence captivated him. He hung stock-still, watching endlessly, consumed by curiosity. He derived such joy, such pleasure in watching—until he finally realized he had turned to stone. They say the Goddess, stirred by his devotion, dubbed him Visgo and sealed him away as a Guardian.
