A subspecies of kobold with highly-developed ears. Their extraordinary hearing allows them to anticipate an opponent's next move from the slightest rustle of clothing or creak of bone, making their timely dodges appear almost precognizant. They prefer to fight bare-handed in order to stay nimble. Some scholars believe this species, also called Ancient Kobolds, are in fact the progenitors of the kobold race.
